Capitol Federal's 119th Year of True Blue® Service
NEWS RELEASE
TOPEKA, Kan. – Capitol Federal invites photographers to become a part of the Bank’s 2013 calendar. The Bank is seeking photos that portray a favorite home memory. Photos can include landscapes, buildings, animals, objects, anything, except people. Ideas might be a front porch with a swing , rocking chair or hammock, baseball bat and glove or a tree once climbed – whatever the item, it tells the story of a happy memory of home.
Those who wish to submit one or more photos are invited to email them by April 5, 2012, as digital files (300 dpi and at least 10” x 8”) as .jpg, .tiff or .eps files to submit@cfedc.com. With the photo, Capitol Federal asks for a description of the memory, plus what the home and memory means to the photographer. Photographers must include their first and last name, phone number and photo location.
Each person whose 2013 calendar entry is chosen to appear in the calendar will receive a $25 Shutterfly gift card! Contest expired April 5, 2012.
“Home is what Capitol Federal is all about," stated Capitol Federal Marketing Director Becky Moore, "and we want to convey happy memories of homes through our 2013 calendar. There are so many talented photographers, and Capitol Federal has been proud to share some of their photos with the community. It makes it so much more personal when you get to know these gifted photographers through their own eyes. This year, we decided to expand our contest to other artists and students of photography in hopes to showcase their work and convey the heart of the home to others. We hope everyone will join us in making our 2013 calendar one our community will be sure to request.”
