Capitol Federal's 118th Year of True Blue® Service
NEWS RELEASE
John B. Dicus, chairman of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, Topeka KS, announces the opening on Monday, September 27, 2010, of the Bank’s newest True Blue® location within the Price Chopper at 830 East Main in Gardner KS. Watch for the grand opening to be held Monday, October 11 through Wednesday, October 13.
The new Price Chopper location is the Bank's 46th branch and its 23rd Greater Kansas City office. It is open Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Noon to 4:00 p.m. The new full-service branch includes these convenient office hours, as well as an ATM open during Price Chopper daily hours, 6 a.m. to midnight.
Appointed to manage the new office is Vice President-Branch Manager Mimi Eckart. A 2005 graduate of Johnson County Community College, Eckart joined Capitol Federal in February 1998. She served as teller, teller supervisor, customer service representative and assistant branch manager before being promoted to vice president-branch manager of the Olathe office at 1408 East Santa Fe. She will continue in that capacity as she accepts the new position.
Active in her community, Eckart volunteers for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event and serves as a member of the Olathe Chamber of Commerce. She is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Olathe.
Eckart said, "Capitol Federal is pleased to expand into the Gardner-Edgerton community. We welcome our customers and potential customers to stop by and meet our staff. We want to get to know you and extend our warm, True Blue® hospitality and service to all."
