Eligibility and Rules
Must be 18 years of age or older to qualify to win. From time to time, Capitol Federal may elect to promote ticket giveaway contests using its outdoor digital signage at the corner of 7th Street and Kansas Avenue in Topeka, Kansas. These contests, when held, will be promoted on the aforementioned sign on Thursday afternoons from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Central time. These rules shall govern all such contests. Limit one entry per eligible person. Employees of Capitol Federal, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win the prize. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible or incomplete. Open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. How to Enter
Participants can enter by following the entry instructions posted on Capitol Federal’s outdoor digital signage at the corner of 7th Street and Kansas Avenue in Topeka, Kansas, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Central time on Thursdays. Only one entry per person will be eligible. Capitol Federal may prohibit you from participation in the Contest if, at their sole discretion, you show a disregard for, or attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, or act: (a) in a manner that affects the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest in any way; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or the Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner.
Limitations of Liability
The Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Home Office Ticket Ticker Thursday Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions. The Bank assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Bank is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Home Office Ticket Ticker Thursday Contest. The Bank is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in connection with the Home Office Ticket Ticker Thursday Contest. If, for any reason, the Home Office Ticket Ticker Thursday Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Bank which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Home Office Ticket Ticker Thursday Contest, the Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Home Office Ticket Ticker Thursday Contest.
Prizes
Winners will receive tickets to various local and regional events. The specific event, quantity of tickets to be won, and prize value will be outlined in the entry instructions on the digital sign for each contest. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash, substituted or transferred. Contest void where prohibited, licensed, restricted or taxed. If any provision of this Contest shall be deemed to violate any federal, state or municipal law, it shall be amended to conform to such law and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Other restrictions may apply.
Selection of Winners
Winners will be randomly chosen at 4:30 p.m. on the day of each contest, and will be contacted immediately. All winners will have 24 hours from notification to claim their prize, after which their prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner selected. Capitol Federal cannot be held responsible for any form of liability in association with prize redemption or any activity related thereto. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of active participants. Any taxes or additional expenses associated with the awarded prizes will be the responsibility of the winners.
