Community Events

Throughout Kansas, Capitol Federal is involved in all kinds of events,
ranging from sports to the performing arts.  You might have enjoyed
swimming at the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, or seeing a show
during the Capitol Federal Concert Series at Starlight Theatre.

Maybe you even watched the spectacular fireworks display at the
Wichita RiverFest … familiarly known as the "Capitol Federal Fireworks." 
We take pride in the communities we serve and enjoy providing a smile
to those with which we share our communities.

Symphony in the Flint Hills
Saturday, June 15
Historic Fort Riley
 
In honor of our heritage within the Flint Hills and the beauty of the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra, Capitol Federal® is proud to serve as the Major Presenting Sponsor of the Symphony in the Flint Hills for a third year.  This year’s outdoor festival will take place on Fort Riley's Historic Main Post.  Beginning at 1 p.m., the event will include heritage and culture presentations featuring the natural history of the tallgrass prairie, river walks, prairie walks, visits to the First Territorial Capitol, the Cavalry Museum and Custer’s House, with the concert beginning at sunset. Afterwards, there will be dancing, stargazing and storytelling.
