First Blue

A Student's perfect first checking account

Easy and simple to manage – the perfect account to start teens on the right financial foot allowing them freedom to manage their own account, while also giving parents access as a joint-owner. As a joint-owner, parents can easily transfer funds from their CapFed® account to their teen's account. There is a low $25 minimum deposit to open, with no minimum balance fees and no monthly service fees.

Like all Capitol Federal® checking accounts, the First Blue account allows teens access to True Blue Online® banking and Mobile Banking to pay bills, check balances and review transactions. Plus, customers ages 16 and older can learn valuable real-world skills by carrying a True Blue® Direct Visa® debit card.

Teens can also pay people or get paid using only their email address or mobile phone number with PopMoney® on True Blue Online banking.

Certain restrictions apply. See Disclosure and Agreement booklet for more information.
