Topeka's Tulip Time Festival, which runs from April 1 - April 16, features more than 120,000 tulips and daffodils in bloom at locations around Topeka, including Lake Shawnee's Ted Ensley Botanical Gardens, Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Historic Site and Gage Park.

Also, be sure to check out the special event, Tulips at Twilight.

Friday and Saturday, April 6, 7, 13 & 14 at Old Prairie Town. Each evening, the gates open at 6 p.m.

You'll enjoy:

  • More than 40,000 tulips illuminated by candlelight
  • 30 lighted displays including larger-than-life flowers
  • Live music and historic tours by lantern light on Friday and Saturday evenings
  • Light food and sweets, warm drinks by the fire

This year, the garden will also be open Sunday through Thursday for a more tranquil experience. A $5.00 donation is suggested and children 5 and under are free.
