Please be aware of scammers spoofing our phone number and impersonating Capitol Federal employees. According to multiple reports, the scammers are calling customers wanting them to verify transactions out of New York. The scammers will then move on to asking if the customer initiated a wire transfer for a certain amount and that they need the customer's full card number to unlock their online banking account.

Make sure to never give your personal or bank information out in response to a request you didn't expect and always be alert. As a reminder, Capitol Federal® will never request your account number or debit card number to verify your identity. Requests of these types are a scam.
