This summer the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is offering a creative class called the Sketchbook Habit: Sowing Seeds of Creativity. Through this course, participants will focus on the fundamentals and habit of visual journaling through keeping a sketchbook. Spend the nice days outside paying close attention to the world around you. Live in the moment and capture the moment in your sketchbook as the instructor gives you tips on what to look for. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class offers a fun environment to nurture your visual expression.
