Capitol Federal's 46th branch, and third in Missouri, opened at 1911 Star Drive in Liberty, MO, in 2012. The 3,529 square-foot, full-service facility offers two drive-up lanes and a 24-hour ATM. The grand opening brought excitement to the community, featuring a special presentation by Chairman John B. Dicus of a Capitol Federal® Foundation gift to The Liberty School District Foundation. The event also included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a radio remote, and a grilling event by Hy-Vee, with customers eager to enter a contest for an iPad and restaurant gift certificates.
In 2022, Capitol Federal was voted Best Bank to Get a Mortgage by the Courier-Tribune and Gladstone Dispatch.
