Shawnee Crossings Branch - West Shawnee Mission Parkway

In April 2003, Capitol Federal proudly opened its 35th branch at Shawnee Crossings, marking the bank's 16th location in Greater Kansas City and the third in Shawnee. The new 5,200-square-foot branch, featuring three drive-up teller windows and a drive-up ATM, became a vital part of the community under the leadership of Branch Manager Janet Baggett. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 3rd, Janet expressed CapFed’s honor in being a long-time member of the Shawnee community and playing a role in its westward expansion. The branch’s opening earned Capitol Federal the prestigious Business Development Award from the Shawnee Economic Development Council and Shawnee Area Chamber of Commerce, recognizing their contribution to making Shawnee a vibrant place to live and do business.
