In October 1963, Capitol Federal opened its State Line Branch at 76th and State Line in the Meadow Lake Shopping Center, Prairie Village. The branch doubled in size in 1966 by relocating next door. By February 13, 1978, CapFed moved to a newly constructed two-story building at 75th and State Line. This new structure earned a first merit award from the Midwest Concrete Industry Board for Excellence in Concrete Construction, marking a significant achievement in the branch's history.
