Instant payments are revolutionizing the way money moves, and now at Capitol Federal®, you can enjoy the convenience of receiving payments instantly through the Real-Time Payment (RTP) network (processed through The Clearing House) and the FedNow Service (processed through The Federal Reserve).
Capitol Federal deposit account customers are automatically eligible to receive instant-payment transfers to their Capitol Federal deposit accounts. There’s no need to take any action to activate this feature; it will be enabled by default. When someone sends money to your account using an instant payment method (that supports RTP or FedNow), you’ll see the funds appear almost instantly.
